About The Company

Leap of Faith Dance Company (LOFDCo) was created to express through performance a love

for dance and a love for God. Under the direction of Candra Davis, this senior

company of Leap of Faith Dance Academy is made up of dancers ages 16 &

up that have a heart to worship through dance and have been trained in ballet,

jazz, lyrical, liturgical and tap. The company sets out to draw in & minister to

audiences that may have an appreciation for the art of dance but not know or

have a relationship with God. The company also wants to expose other audiences

that already have a relationship with God to another aspect of performing arts that

interprets a love for God through dance and creative expression. Leap of Faith

Dance Company has and is available to perform at churches, weddings,

 outreach events, festivals, Company-sponsored annual events, etc.

COMPANY MEMBERSHIP

To join and maintain membership in Leap of Faith Dance Company (LOFDCo), dancers are required to participate in an annual audition.  We look for dancers ages 16 & older with a strong background in jazz, lyrical, ballet and liturgical.  Selected dancers must be able to commit to all classes, rehearsals, and events for the entire dance season.  Dancers for the 2009-2010 have been selected.  If interested in auditioning for the 2010-2011 season, please check back in Spring 2010 for more information.
